WHY THE CRASH HAPPENED AT THE CRASH STAND
We
know
that John Marrotte saw Maura's car, through trees, from his kitchen
window.

We know that the Marrottes' kitchen window is on the side of their
former house.
It's not on the front of their house (compare above)

AND, it had a clear shot of the crash stand at the time of the crash.

We know that the Westmans also saw Maura's car, also from their
kitchen, which was on the
side of their house
.
From the crash stand, the Westmans had an excellent view.
Screen shot from video I took. I stood at the crash stand and turned
around to see what the Westmans' view would have been like.
The police report depicted the crash occurring at a stand of three
trees (see three circles behind tire tracks). The diagram does not have
the crash occurring in front of the Marrottes.
It was the Murrays' understanding that the crash happened at the crash
stand.
WHY THE CRASH DIDN'T HAPPEN AT THE THIRD PINE TREE IN FRONT OF THE
MARROTTES' HOUSE.
For starters, there is no tree stand there.
No witness has ever said it happened there.
The Westmans would barely have been able to see Maura there, if they
could have seen her at all.

For these reasons, the crash happened at the crash stand, and not at
the third pine in front of the Marrottes' house.
